Daily notes on how the arts and culture enrich our lives
Each day, I share an observation about something fascinating I've encountered—a piece of music, a film scene, a moment of unexpected elegance.
Not advice. Not how-to. Just ideas worth considering.
Sometimes it's about Maria Callas's approach to perfection and what that reveals about artistic integrity.
Sometimes it's noticing the design philosophy behind a beautiful café and how space shapes behavior.
Often it's connecting things that seem unrelated—like how Federer's tennis playing reminds me of bel canto singing, while Nadal's style is more like modern opera.
These are the kinds of observations that make ordinary moments more interesting.
I love to explore the patterns behind compelling people and beautiful things.
The subtle choices that create lasting impact.
The cultural references that add layers to conversations.
The small details that separate the thoughtful from the thoughtless.
This newsletter is for people who notice these things too—or want to start noticing them.

A Bit About Me...
I love finding elegance everywhere – from opera houses to Pixar studios, from F1 strategy to architectural details. Just genuine curiosity about what makes life more beautiful. ✨
This approach first resonated with me in my teens when I read Audrey Hepburn's biography. But it was Maria Callas who inspired me to dive deep into the matter. In 2023, I ended up writing my entire bachelor's thesis on the concept of elegance in three vocal performances from the 1960s.
I got to observe the history of arts and culture even more when I spent 2024 living in Paris.
Now I have a Master's in Musicology from the University of Helsinki, and I'm moving back to Paris soon!
